Scotland is a popular country because of its magnificent scenery of the mountains. No wonder that it is one of the favorite choices as venue for movies. It makes every movie watcher curious where the movie was filmed. We have Braveheart, Breaking The Waves, Charlotte Gray, Rob Roy and many more.

Aside from it's extraordinary and panoramic scenery, Scotland also has its beautiful gardens that would truly lighten-up one's day. We have the Achamore Gardens which is a sub-tropical garden woodland which was created by Sir James Horlick after 1944. His plant collection specializes in tender rhododendrons. Sir Horlic has great interest on Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Camellias. Other beautiful gardens are Arduaine Garden, Brodick Castle Garden and Country Park, Edinburgh Royal Botanic Garden, Pitmedden Garden, Malleny Garden and many more.
Scotland's capital is Edinburgh which holds the annual Edinburgh Festival, the largest cultural event in the world. It takes place in August every year and includes several simultaneous arts and cultural festivals.
