Drive Traffic to Your Travel Blog Through Social Networking

Social networking is a very popular means of driving traffic to our sites. The active members usually love to follow the blog of the other members and they love interacting with each other. These networking sites become so popular in a very fast pace so it is best to take advantage of this opportunity.
As a blogger myself, I can say that social networking is a very effective tool in driving traffic to our sites based on my experience of three years. We are allowed to make a small bio about us in these networking sites - what we do, what are our projects online and offline and also from there, we can post links to our blogs. It is just up to us to make the best out of this opportunity. I made a listing of all of them in my other blog and I remain active in them so people would love to visit my profile page too. If they visit my page, they would be curious to follow the links to my blog and see what I have to offer or what information they can learn from me.
Another addition to my list is a new social networking site named Jurnl. Jurnl was just launched last February 23 but it shows a promising future for social networking. It is a new free blogging and social networking platform. They have groups you can create depending on what your inclination is. You can also make a blog about everything you'd love to talk about. If you are a frequent traveller, they have an iphone application so wherever you are, you can always update your friends and family by blogging about your experiences where you can also add photos using this application.
