Requirements for Minors Travelling Alone
February 3rd 2011 16:32
There are times that our child has to travel alone. This may be due to a school activity or a scholarship in another country where he or she has been granted. For minors travelling alone, there are some very important papers that you as a parent should accomplish so that the travel of your child will be granted. This will also ensure that your child is given extra attention and care.
A travel clearance is required to be secured from your local government unit, who is in charge of this kind of case. Once a travel clearance is acquired, you need to inform the airline that the one travelling is a minor. You have to submit them the travel clearance so that your child will be allowed to travel. You will also be required to fill-up a form of the airline for your child's travel and safety. The airline will then notify its airline crew to give extra attention to the travelling minor.
