The Magnificent Beauty of the Grand Canyon

Have you ever thought how the Grand Canyon got its magnificent beauty? Truly nature is magic by itself. Every time I look at the photos of the Grand Canyon, I become speechless with the extraordinary beauty of nature that is right before my eyes.

The Grand Canyon can be found within the Grand Canyon National Park in the state of Arizona in the United States. The Grand Canyon National Park is a world-renowned national park which is one of first national parks in the country. This amazing attraction is between 4 to 18 miles (6.4 to 29 km) in width and has a depth of over a mile (6000 feet) (1.82 km). It is 277 miles long which is approximately 446 km.
President Theodore Roosevelt enjoyed hunting here and watching the panoramic scenery of the Grand Canyon and he was the major proponent in the conservation of this national park. Such a thing of beauty is truly worth keeping and I hope the next generations to come would also give great concern on its conservation and protect it from any future destructions.
