September 16th 2011 14:10
The US state of Pennsylvania is located in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern regions of the United States. Its capital is Harrisburg. Philadelphia is its biggest city while next is Pittsburg, followed by Allentown and Erie, respectively while the smallest is Parker with only a population of approximately 738. Maryland and Delaware are to the south of its border while Ohio is to its West and West Virginia to its southwest. New Jersey is to its East while to its north are Ontario, Canada and New York.

Hamburg is a borough in Berks County in Pennsylvania. It was named after the city of Hamburg in Germany. According to the 2000 census, its population reached 4,114.

One of the landmarks in Hamburg is Cabela's Hamburg, Pennsylvania Store. It offers quality outdoor merchandise. It also has a massive 250,000 sq. ft. showroom which contains educational and entertainment attractions. It features a décor of museum-quality animal displays, huge aquariums with different beautiful kinds of fishes and trophy animals that are interacting in realistic re-creations of their natural habitats.

Kaercher Creek Park was developed around a 40-acre lake. It offers recreation opportunities in the northern Berks County with a boat launching ramp, a boat and a fishing dock. Fishing in the lake is enjoyable and will surely be worth it because it is stocked by the Pennsylvania Fish Commission with a variety of fishes. On Kaercher Creek Cabela's Day, Cabela's help prepare outdoor activities for everyone. They give useful tips for family camping as well as backpacking (with tackle, fishing and supplies provided). There are boat and rv Hamburg PA rentals available around the place. You can rent a boat for the family's fishing activity or rent an rv to see around the beautiful spots.

Kaercher Creek Park also features other family oriented facilities like the children's play apparatus, volleyball courts, quoit and horsehoe pits, sand volleyball court, a picnic pavilion and the lodge. The whole family will surely love the experience.
