Where to Buy High Quality and Most Affordable Eyeglasses

February 16th 2009 06:06
Our eyes are among the most important parts of our body. Losing it would mean losing so much in our lifetime. We will never be able to see the beauty of the world again and we will never be able to do the things we usually do with speed and accuracy. As we grow older, our eyesight deteriorates most especially if we have been using it so bad and had not practiced proper eye care. Wearing eyeglasses becomes a must. Others don't wear it as they are out of budget.

When I was in high school, I was diagnosed with astigmatism. Astigmatism as Wikipedia defines it, is an optical defect, whereby vision is blurred due to irregular curvature of the cornea or lens. When light strikes the retina at multiple points, the result is blurred vision. I would then have difficulty seeing under the sun or near very bright lights. It would appear too bright for me. I was asked to wear eyeglasses to correct my astigmatism. The price of my first glasses was only about $40 then. It was the cheapest during that time.

The recent economic crisis has affected almost all countries of the world. Our budget has to be cut-down on our expenses. Many people were retrenched from their jobs. I am just lucky that I still have a job to report to everyday. A very useful site online for our eyeglasses purchases is Zenni Optical. When I checked their rates, I couldn't believe we can buy prescription eyeglasses for only $8!. Isn't it amazing ? This online eyestore was featured by the NY Times for their low cost frames and high quality products. Zenni Optical in the New York Times is entitled “Seeing Straight Without Breaking Bank”. The review explains that when we reach the age of 40, our vision deteriorates and we need to take good care of our eyes and have a regular check-up every two-four years.

From the store's list, my most favorite is the “4134 Full Rim Metal Alloy with Spring Hinge”. It looks so light and stylish. I love the pastel color too and take note it's only $8! So, planning to buy a new eyeglass to correct your vision or replace your old one? Check out Zenni Optical for their high quality and most affordable eyeglasses ever.
